The truth about proteins
Organs, cells and tissues are dependent on proteins for sustention. Lack of proteins would mean reduced rate of growth, increased invulnerability, and a weak respiratory and heart system and reduced muscle assemblage. When we eat proteins, the digestive system breaks down the proteins even further to make its own set of proteins. Proteins have always been over shadowed by other nutrients but are slowly gaining popularity. This is because it has just come into light that proteins help in losing weight. Research is still going on to find out the other advantages of proteins but it sure that it has stepped into the limelight. The only important fact that we need to keep in mind that proteins should not be taken more than needed. Most people do this very mistake. Recommended measures for proteins are about 8 grams per 20 pounds of human weight. Some acids are discharged while proteins get macerated. These acids are vindicated by calcium. If a high amount of protein is included in the diet, this also means a high amount of calcium is being used to vindicate it. This may lead to weak bones if continuously done.A protein rich with all the important amino acids is known as a complete protein where as a protein with less amino acids is deficient. If 2 or more deficient proteins combine together, they sometimes are able to form the conspicuous amino acids. These kinds of proteins are called complimentary proteins. It is proven that you don’t have to eat these kinds of proteins in the same meal. If eaten on the same day, the body has the capacity to combine the proteins.
